She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Architecture in 1987. She completed his master's (1990) and doctoral (1998) studies at the same university. Between 1987 and 2007, she worked as a faculty member at DEU Faculty of Architecture. During this period, she wrote various articles on the processes of globalization and its spatial effects and architectural education. Since 2007, she has been working as a full-time architect at her M + D Architecture Office. In this process, she won the 13th National Architecture Building Award (2012) and the Special Prize of the 5th Turgut Cansever International Architecture Awards (2019) for her buildings. In addition, she has won various awards in national architecture competitions for her team works. She publishes articles in professional journals, participates as a speaker in events, works as a studio director in architectural schools, and acts as a jury members in various competitions.
