The Events
In addition to the architectural and cultural-artistic projects we produce, The Circle, as an “open-space” hosts various cultural-artistic events and talks. These events ranging from theatre to literature, from cinema to music fosters The Circle’s structure as a multi-disciplinary platform.
Hikaru Dorodango Workshop
Hikaru Dorodango is a Japanese art in which clay soil is delicately and patiently processed into eye-catching spheres.
Mono Earth, which works with many forms of earth, will meet you at the same table at The Circle Space to experience this Japanese art together.
The workshop, led by Can Cumalı and Çağlar İşbilir, is open to everyone who wants to witness what a ball of mud can turn into with only hands. We will sip Cappadocian wines while revealing the sparkle of the earth, and each participant will leave the table with their own shiny earth ball.
On Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19, you can choose from two date options that suit you.
Jazz Concert
Bu performansta Ceren Temel loop station ve vokal prosesörü ile vokal ses katmanları, ses efektleri ve doğaçlamalardan oluşan bir performans sergilerken Berlin’de yaşayan sanatçı Lady Gaby ise, kadın hakları; kadın cinayetleri, cinsiyet eşitsizliği ve benzeri konularda yazdıkları ingilizce metni ile beraber performansını sergileyecektir.
Ceren Temel’in uzun zamandır hayalini kurduğu bu proje, sosyal medya aracılığıyla Lady Gaby ile iletişime geçmesi sonucunda ortaya çıktı. Berlin’de de gerçekleşecek bu projeyi, sanatçının İstanbul’a gelmesiyle ilk önce İstanbul’da yapmaya karar verdiler. Bu özel ve önemli performans 19 Eylül’de saat 20:30’da Beyoğlu’nda The Circle Space’te gerçekleşecek.

The Circle organizasyonunda, QReal sponsorluğunda gerçekleşecek olan; mimarlık kültürünü çok yönlü bir bakışla ele alan ve çeşitli güncel temalara odaklanan ‘Tematik Etkinlikler Serisi’ Haziran ayında ‘Mimarlık ve Teknoloji Serisi’ ile başlıyor.
