The Emerging Architects Selection & Exhibition (GEMSS), organized for the second time this year by The Circle, once again with the Main Sponsorship of VitrA, has opened on 20th of January at the Circle, Istanbul.

With its second edition, The Emerging Architects Selection and Exhibition -the first edition of which took place two years ago- continues to bring together practices that contribute to the culture of architecture. The exhibition, which reflects the productions of selected 14 practices -9 individuals and 5 teams - who were active in very diverse and different fields of architecture, will remain open to visitors until 29th of April.

The exhibition, which is enriched by the diversity of the selected practices’ productions demonstrating that architecture can spread to the broader scopes of thinking and doing processes, aims to meet the intellectual identities of the selected architects with the visitors. The exhibitions consist of multidimensional productions both physical and digital; the boards presenting their projects, 3D objects, and additional materials which reflect their interests including sketches, sections from production processes, portfolios and other complementary materials.

The selected architects of GEMSS'21 were announced at the Opening Ceremony which was held at The Circle on January 19th with the physical participation of the invited guests and live online connections.
