Aim

Young Architects Selection & Exhibition aims to record individual and collective production of young architects and present it through the national and international platforms. It also intends to become a new platform for contemporary architectural thought. Planned to be organized every year in the same period, GEMSS’s intention is to provide a multidisciplinary environment for creative projects of young Turkish architects. GEMMS will also build an archive of architectural practices by tracing and recording the concepts and ideas in the selected works. In this way GEMSS aims to become one of the major events that serve to promote the architectural culture in Turkey. Curated by Sait Ali Köknar, GEMSS will also host parallel panels and talks.
