In the GEMSS '21 selection, there are 13 practical and 21 creatives, 9 individually and 4 as a team, who produce in different parts of Turkey and the world in the fields of architectural construction, editorial, curatorial, artistic and academic fields.
The international Selection Committee of GEMSS’21 consists of architects, artists, academicians and construction sector professionals. Under the moderatorship of Sait Ali Köknar, the Committee includes Ömer Selçuk Baz, Pelin Derviş, Murat Germen, Tülin Hadi, Luca Molinari and Şebnem Yalınay Çinici. An exhibition booklet publication and serial online and physical parallel events accompany the GEMSS'21 exhibition.

Selection Committee

Exhibition
You can visit the exhibition of the works of the architects and teams included in the GEMSS'21 selection at The Circle between January 20 - April 29, 2022.
Reservation is required for the visit, for booking information and free registration click.
The exhibition will be open to visitors between 10.00 - 18.00 every day except Sundays. At the entrance to the exhibition, visitors are required to present information that they have been vaccinated or have had COVID-19 through the HES code or a negative PCR test result taken no more than 48 hours ago.
Calendar
The GEMSS'21 process, which started on July 07, was finalized on World Architecture Day in early October after a long and thorough application & evaluation process. Preparations for the GEMSS'21 Exhibition, which is scheduled to open in mid-December, are ongoing. Parallel events that will take place alongside the exhibition will be announced in the future.
